Av de 29 hallene som var i drift, ble det m\u00e5lt i 24. M\u00e5lingene ble utf\u00f8rt som ukem\u00e5linger ved hjelp av \u201cPalmes\u2019 tubes\u201d som er passive pr\u00f8vetakere. Samtidig ble det m\u00e5lt i over 300 haller i \u00e5tte andre land. Utekonsentrasjonen ved norske ishaller (gjennomsnitt) var relativt lav og det samme gjaldt konsentrasjonen i innelufta (gjennomsnitt).
