Dr. Cathrine Lund Myhre in NILU’s Department of Atmosphere and Climate has been appointed a member of the national reference group for Research Infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Dr. Philipp Schneider in NILU’s Urban Environment and Industry Department has been appointed a member of the national reference group for Digital, Industry and Space.<\/p>\n
Dr. Leonor Tarras\u00f3n, Research Director for Environmental Solutions, has been appointed a member of the national reference group for Climate, Energy and Mobility.<\/p>\n
According to the Research Council of Norway, the national reference groups are arenas for input related to Norway’s influence on priorities and strategic processes in Horizon Europe. The reference groups shall be closely linked to the program committees\u2019 work regarding the preparation of work programs for the different parts of Horizon Europe, and act as dialogue and information channels between Horizon Europa and other relevant actors. They will also contribute to ensuring good interaction with national strategies, the competition arena and calls for proposals.<\/p>\n
Horizon Europe launches on 1st<\/sup> January 2021. The proposed total budget, which will be adopted this summer, is a record \u20ac 94 billion. This is \u20ac 19 billion more than the budget for the previous framework program, Horizon 2020.<\/p>\n
