Daniel Moran er miljøøkonom og jobber med kvantifiserering av biofysiske ressursene som brukes av økonomien. Han er en aktiv bidragsyter til globale multi-region input-output-modeller (MRIOs) som gir ‘digital twins’ av verdensøkonomien og brukes til å generere Scope 3 karbonfotavtrykksresultater. Dr. Moran jobber også med Scope 1 GHG-utslippsmodeller. Arbeidet hans har blitt omtalt i National Geographic, New York Times og The Economist.
Før han startet sin akademiske karriere jobbet Dr. Moran med Wall Street-prising av ESG-risiko ved MSCI og hjalp nobelprisvinneren Paul Romer med å skrive en lærebok om Principles of Economics.
