Kontrollmålinger av PAH i luft og nyttevekster ved aluminiumverk sommeren 1991.

Measurements of PAH were performed near three Norwegian aluminium smelters and at two reference stations, Oslo and Lillestrøm, during the months June- August 1991. The emissions from the smelters contributed the most to the measured PAH-concentrations at the stations near the smelters. In Mosjøen car trafic also contributed considerably. Samples of lettuce from stations near two aluminium smelters and from reference stations were also analyzed for PAH. The concentrations of PAH in lettuce were considerably higher near the smelters than at the reference stations.
