Air Quality Management Project, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2006. Final report, Mission 1. 16 - 27 January 2006.

NILU experts have been asked by the World Bank to assess and support the Air Quality Assessment work ongoing in Dhaka. This work represents the first Mission of 2 to Dhaka in which the international team provide technical input to the AQMP staff according to the specifications given in the project plan based on the Terms of Reference. Mr Bjarne Sivertsen and Mrs Herdis Laupsa participated in the first Mission and gave a seminar and a workshop in order to introduce the DoE team to the air quality management systems available internationally. They discussed site selection criteria, performed database assessment, training in emission inventories and simple air pollution modelling as well as assisted in the design of studies for brick kilns.
